你正在受苦嗎？
「我曾尋求耶和華，他就應允我，救我脫離了一切的恐懼。凡仰望祂的，便有光榮；他們的臉，必不蒙羞。我這困苦人呼求，耶和華便垂聽，救我脫離一切患難。耶和華的使者，在敬畏祂的人四圍安營搭救他們。你們要嘗嘗主恩的滋味，便知道祂是美善，投靠祂的人有福了！耶和華的聖民哪，你們當敬畏祂，因敬畏祂的一無所缺。少壯獅子還缺食忍餓；但尋求耶和華的，什麼好處都不缺。… 義人呼求，耶和華聽見了，便救他們脫離一切患難。耶和華靠近傷心的人，拯救靈性痛悔的人。義人多有若難，但耶和畢救他脫離這一切，又保全他一身的骨頭，連一根也不折斷。」(詩三十四4-10, 17-20)
4 I sought the LORD, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.
5 Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.
6 This poor man called, and the LORD heard him; He saved him out of all his troubles.

苦難中的保證

婦人焉能忘記她吃奶的嬰孩，不憐憫她所生的兒子？即或有忘記的，我卻不忘記你。（賽四十九15）
母愛是世上最偉大的愛，但即便是這種愛也與神對我們的愛無法相提並論。神不僅提供我們所需的陽光雨露，更差派祂的獨生子到世上，在十字架上為救贖落在死罪中的人類而獻身流血。
神的愛如此長闊高深，反倒使人們從人的邏輯上不明白、不在意、不領情。即使是我們認識了祂，成了祂的兒女後，也常以為祂忘記了我們，特別是遇到人間苦難，又或禱告未能蒙應允時，便容易對神的愛產生疑惑、埋怨。
有位姊妹，有一些先天的疾病，身體原本便虛弱，近日又發現另一種嚴重的疾病，經常發作，奇痛無比。但因先天疾病的緣故，沒有醫生敢為她動手術，她因此心中苦惱，「神啊， 為甚麼不接我回天家？常要受這些病痛的折磨，也不知生命能活多久……。」
在人看來，這樣的處境真的很無助，而且也不見得這樣的病必會得到神蹟性的醫治。苦難難熬，我們永遠無法了解其中奧秘；但我們若堅信神向我們所懷的，是比父母親還深刻細緻的愛，在我們以為自己獨行之時，其實是主懷抱我們而行，我們就會漸漸明白苦難背後的祝福，是塑造我們成長的工具。
